Jimmy & Jean Root

Jimmy and Jean Root have served as pastors, Assemblies of God missionaries to Colombia, and church planters since 1980, establishing three church plants in Nebraska and Missouri, and multiple plants in South America. Their lives and ministry have been built on loving people, training believers for the work of the ministry, and extending the Kingdom of God through church planting.

The Roots are planting Freedom Church of St. Joseph in St. Joseph MO.

 

Steve & Jessica Gamble

Steve and Jessica Gamble have served in the church together in one capacity or another – worship leader, youth leader, associate pastor – their whole married life of 18 years. They have served as Youth Pastors for the last 12 years at Silex Assembly of God. Now they are answering the call from God to plant a church in Louisiana, MO. They see the church as a home for all people, a training ground to develop disciples, and a place and people that meet the needs of the community. “We are so excited to see God move in the community of Louisiana and watch Him change lives forever,” said Pastor Steve.

The Gambles have six children, 4 boys and twin daughters.
